NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont men's golf team aims for a conference title as they compete at the MVC Championship this Sunday-Tuesday in Waterloo, Illinois.
BRUIN BITES
- In their last event, Belmont tied for eighth place at the Muirfield Shootout last Monday. Junior Chris Harpum led BU as he tied for 21st place at 148.
- Harpum leads the team in scoring with a 73.5 average with six top-25 finishes.
- Senior Conner Brown ranks second in scoring at 73.8 and leads the team in top-10s with 3 and top-20s with 4.
The MVC Championship is a three-day, 54-hole event with 18 holes contested Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. It will be held at a new venue, Annbriar Golf Course in Waterloo, Illinois. It will play to a par 71 and a length of 6860 yards. Annbriar hosted the MVC Women's Championship the last three years.
