ATLANTA - - Belmont University men's track & field delivered a series of strong performances this weekend at the Georgia Tech Invitational from George C. Griffin Track.

Five personal records were established with several additional season-best marks and times.

Garrett Connor set a Belmont freshman record in the hammer throw with a mark of 50.21m.

Kyle Garrett placed eighth in the shot put with a personal-best mark of 15.82m.

Rodney Bryant also posted a personal-best in the 400m hurdles with a time of 54.72.

Tezz Dozier also stayed in form in the 100m and 200m tracking well for conference.

Jack Perry placed fifth in the pole vault with a clearance of 4.79m.

Belmont returns to action May 2-3 in the Outdoor Music City Challenge hosted by Vanderbilt.
