Nashville, Tenn. - After a short break from racing, the Belmont men's cross country team will return to action at the Gans Creek Classic in Colombia, Mo. on Friday, Sept. 26.
The Bruins head west of the Mississippi after an 8th-place finish at the Southern Showcase on Sept. 12 in Huntsville, Alabama.
In Colombia, the Bruins will face off against competitors from across the country such as Kansas, Maine, Nebraska, Ohio State, UCLA, Vanderbilt, and Washington University St. Louis.
The Bruins will also have the opportunity to race against conference opponents Drake, UIC, Northern Iowa, and Southern Indiana.
The Men's Black Championship begins at 8:15 a.m. CT.
What's Bruin
- Belmont placed 8th at Jacksonville State's Southern Showcase on Sept. 12
- The team finished ahead of tough competition including Florida State and Miami, among others.
- Andrew Hammel and Zach Brill finished in the top 50.
