NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Belmont men's cross country team finished 9th out of 20 teams at the Crimson Classic, held at the Harry Pritchett Running Park in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
The Bruins raced against some of the top teams in the nation, including South Region competitors Auburn and Vanderbilt.
Drew Brill continued his strong season, placing 35th with a time under 25 minutes.
Belmont runners stuck together for large portions of the race, with the following five runners finishing in less than 26 minutes.
Rounding out the Bruins' top five was
Reuben Macdonald, who ran an 8K personal best of 25:42.0.
