NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Belmont men's cross country team finished 15th out of 26 teams in a competitive field, loaded with elite national talent at the seventh annual Gans Creek Classic hosted by Mizzou.
The Bruins raced against national contenders such as Kansas, Nebraska, Ohio State, UCLA, Vanderbilt, and Washington University St. Louis.
Andrew Hammel lead the Belmont pack, finishing with time of 24:23.8.
Also coming in under 25 minutes were
Drew Brill and
Sam Shuman, placing 97th and 109th respectively.
Freshmen
Noah Mathews and
Max Malloy rounded out a solid day for the Bruins.
