NASHVILLE, Tenn. - -Â The Missouri Valey Conference has released it Players to Watch list for the upcoming 2026 season. The Bruins have five athletes listed from their perfomance from the previous season.Â
Andrew Perry appeared in 20 games last season and achieved a 3-2 win/loss record, a 3.66 ERA, and a 1.16 WHIP, which was third best on the team for the 2025 season. Perry also collected 52 strikeouts on 169 batters faced in 46.2 innings and allowing just 41 hits.
He posted a 3.66 ERA with a solid 1.16 WHIP, going 3–2 over 20 appearances and 46.2 innings pitched. The right-hander was effective at missing bats, striking out 52 hitters while limiting opponents to a .243 batting average and allowing just 41 hits.
Charlie Davis put together a strong offensive season in 2025, hitting .315 with a .795 OPS while collecting 80 hits in 254 at-bats. He showed solid pop and versatility at the plate, driving in 30 runs with 14 doubles, 2 triples, and 3 home runs, while scoring 43 times. A disciplined approach and speed on the bases stood out, as he posted a .421 OBP, stole 25 bases in 30 attempts, and consistently created pressure on opposing defenses.
Michael Lareau delivered an impactful season at the plate, batting .307 with an impressive .861 OPS over 163 at-bats. He provided consistent run production, tallying 50 hits, 12 doubles, 4 home runs, and 30 RBIs while scoring 29 runs. Lareau also showed excellent plate discipline and all-around athleticism, posting a .454 OBP, drawing 46 walks, and adding 9 stolen bases in 13 attempts.
Mike Sprockett turned in a powerful season, batting .278 with a strong .848 OPS across 194 at-bats. He made a big impact in the middle of the lineup, blasting 12 home runs, driving in 42 runs, and collecting 54 hits while scoring 30 times. Sprockett also showed patience and grit at the plate, posting a .510 slugging percentage, drawing 57 walks, and adding value with smart, situational baserunning.
Landon Godsey had an outstanding all-around season, batting .311 with a dominant .998 OPS over 225 at-bats. He was a constant extra-base threat, piling up 70 hits, including 21 doubles, 3 triples, and 12 home runs, while driving in 46 runs and scoring 54 times. Godsey paired his power with patience and athleticism, posting a .591 slugging percentage, a .407 OBP, and swiping 11 bases in 14 attempts.
