Lillie Tabor has been named Missouri Valley Conference Defender of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.
The Brookfield, Wisconsin native scored her first career goal in what could be the final home game of her career. Tabor and the Bruin back line allowed only three shots in a 3-0 win against visiting Valparaiso. She also added an assist on the team's third goal against the Beacons.
Tabor has been an anchor for the Bruins all season leading the team with six assists and minutes played averaging over 85 minutes a game.
The Bruins are back in action Sunday Nov. 1 on the road against Indiana State. Match time is set for 12:00 from Memorial Stadium.
