Belmont Student-Athletes and Staff Head to Poland for a Summer Mission Trip

The group of nine will work with Ukrainian refugees at a summer camp.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – This week, a group of Belmont student-athletes and staff will be doing mission work in Poland.

The group, made up of eight student-athletes and one staff member, will be spending the week working with Proem Ministries at their summer camp in Zakosciele, Poland.

Proehm puts on a camp for children of Ukrainian refugees who are living in Warsaw.  The children are of all ages and most fled Ukraine in the last three years.

The Belmont group will help lead activities and sports at the camp for the children.

This is the fourth time Belmont has done with Proehm and the seventh visit to Poland by Belmont Sports Ministries in the last three decades.

Four teams are represented in the group: Women's Golf, Softball, Women's Track and Field, and Volleyball.
