NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont women's golf team is back in action this Monday and Tuesday at Bettie Lou Evans Invitational in Lexington, Kentucky
WHAT'S BRUIN
- The Bruins finished sixth at The Velvet Classic held this past week in Paducah, Kentucky.
- Junior Sloane Biddle led BU as she tied for runner-up with a 54-hole score of 219. It was her fourth career runner-up finish.
- For her efforts, Biddle was named MVC Co-Golfer of the Week. It was the seventh time her career that she has earned the honor.
This week's Bettie Lou Evans Invitational, hosted by Kentucky, is a two-day, 54-hole event with 36 holes contested on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday. The tournament will be held at the University Club of Kentucky, which will play to a par 72 and a length of 6,242 yards.
The field features 15 teams and includes the likes of host Kentucky, Auburn, Indiana, Cincinnati, California, Lipscomb, Richmond, Penn State, and Tennessee.
