Belmont's Late Rally Falls Short in Extra Inning Loss to Tennessee Tech

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Belmont's ninth inning rally fell short Saturday afternoon as the Bruins fell 3-2 to Tennessee Tech in 10 innings. 

Dan Ludwig and John Gora held both teams scoreless through six innings. 

Tennessee Tech led 2-0 in the bottom of the ninth before late inning heroics from Jamie Ritchie and Nick Egli tied the game. 

A solo homer from Zach Stephens in the top of the tenth pushed TTU ahead 3-2. Tech reliever Kyle Keatts set the Bruins down in order in the tenth, to earn his second save, ending the Bruins 2014 season.
