Box Score NASHVILLE, Tenn.-- With seeding for the OVC Tournament in mind, the Bruins fought with eleven hits but fell short to Southeast Missouri's 13 runs. The Bruins fell 13-7 on Saturday at Rose Park. With today's loss the Bruins officially take the No. 6 seed in the OVC Tournament starting on Wednesday May 20th.
In Saturday's game, all Bruins runs were scored thanks to home runs. Senior, William Dodd (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) lef off the scoring in the second with a two run shot to left. In the third, Matt Beaty (Dresden, Tenn.) sent a home run over the right field fence plating three runs. A two run home run by Tyler Walsh (Evansville, Ind.) rounded out the scoring for the Bruins. After a true staff day for the Bruins, the pitching staff gave up 13 runs on 16 hits.
