Sunday Showdown

NASHVILLE, Tenn.-The Bruins are heading south as the men's team competes against Kennesaw State on Sunday in Kennesaw, Georgia. 

The Bruins (4-7) head into the match after a close defeat against South Alabama. Hendrik Inno and Marko Ilic defeated the No. 15 ranked doubles team of Loic Close and Clement Marzol, 7-5. Inno and Ilic (7-2) are currently ranked (insert) and are the first Bruins to ever be ranked by the ITA in Belmont History. 

Kennesaw State (1-3) enters the match with the No. 106 singles player, Fermin Calvo Barcleo, as of Feb 13. Barcleo is 1-3 in the spring season having defeated UConn at No. 1 singles. As a team, the Owls have lost three matches in a row against Georgia Tech and a double header at Kentucky.
