NASHVILLE, Tenn.– The Belmont men's tennis team lost 5-2 against Grand Canyon University Friday night at Centennial Sportsplex.
The Lopes grabbed an early lead against the Bruins winning all three doubles matches.
In singles, the Bruins took wins in the top two spots ultimately falling to GCU. Hendrik Inno defeated Lorenzo Fucile 6-1, 6-2 at the one and Marko Ilic defeated Mathieu Rajaonah 6-3, 6-1.
The Bruins face the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga tomorrow in an away match followed by a crosstown match against Vanderbilt University on Sunday.
