NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont men's tennis team is back in action on Saturday as they host Georgia Southern at Centennial Sportsplex.
The Bruins are 6-8 and have won their last two matches. In their most recent match, they defeated Presbyterian 6-1 last Sunday afternoon.
Sophomore Marko Ilic leads the team with an 8-3 singles record this spring and is undefeated in his last two matches. Junior Hendrik Inno is 7-5 in the dual match season and has also won his last two matches.
Ilic and Inno are the team's best doubles team. The duo, ranked #45 in the last ITA rankings, are 8-3 during the spring season.
Georgia Southern enters the weekend with a 10-4 record and are on a four-match winning streak. They will face Lipscomb on Friday before tangling with the Bruins on Saturday.
Saturday's match with the Eagles is set for 11:00am at Centennial Sportsplex.
