Wrapping Up the Regular Season

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- The Belmont men's tennis team will take on Austin Peay Saturday, for the final match of their regular season.

The Bruins (11-8) head into the weekend match up with the No. 40 doubles team of Hendrik Inno and Marko Ilic, who have been ranked most of the spring season in the ITA rankings. As a team, the Bruins have won the past three matches in a row giving them a 3-1 conference record having only lost to Jacksonville State who tops the OVC standings.  

The Bruins have defeated the Governors the last four times the two teams have met. 

Going into the match, the Governors are 6-13 for the season, having defeated OVC rivals Eastern Illinois and Tennessee State, two teams the Bruins have defeated this season. 

The match against Austin Peay is set for 10 a.m. in Clarksville, Tenn.
