NASHVILLE, TENN. – The Belmont Men's Tennis team is back on the court this Friday as they host Eastern Illinois.
Going into the matches, the Bruins are 9-9 for the season after defeating UAB last Sunday. Senior Hendrik Inno leads the team with a 18-8 singles mark and is currently on a six match win streak. Sophomore Marko Ilic is second on he team in singles win with 14 and is undefefted in conference play. Inno and Ilic are currently ranked 48th in the ITA Doubles Rankings and leads he team with a 12-3 mark.
As for EIU, the Cougars are 11-12 for the spring season having recently defeated Alabama A&M last Sunday. Before that win, EIU had dropped their first two OVC matches against Tennessee Tech and Jacksonville State. Match is set for 10:00am indoors at Nashboro Village.
