NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Fresh off a series win over Toledo on Opening Weekend, the Belmont University baseball team will look to ride the momentum into a midweek clash with area foe Middle Tennessee State on Wednesday at E.S. Rose Park.
Originally scheduled for Tuesday, the game was pushed back to Wednesday due to inclement weather in the area.
Head coach Dave Jarvis currently owns 999 wins in his college coaching career (324 at Three Rivers CC, 675 at Belmont), with the opportunity to hit 1,000 career wins on Wednesday.
First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m. Noah Syverson will have the live play-by-play call on the Bruin Sports Network beginning at 3:50 p.m., live stats will be available through BelmontBruins.com, and in-game Twitter updates will be posted to @BelmontBaseball.

After dropping the season opener, 3-2, to Toledo on Friday night, the Bruins have rattled off three straight wins, taking both games of Saturday's doubleheader, 7-2 and 5-0, before closing out the series with a 3-0 shutout on Sunday
