Friday, May 6 | 5 p.m.

Saturday, May 7 | 4 p.m.

Sunday, May 8 | 1 p.m.

Skyhawk Field | Martin, Tennessee

MARTIN, Tenn. -- With finals week now in the rearview mirror, the Belmont University baseball team continues their push towards an Ohio Valley Conference regular season championship with a three-game series on the road against the University of Tennessee at Martin this weekend in Martin, Tenn.

At 10-5 in conference play, the Bruins trail only Southeast Missouri (13-5) in the OVC standings. With the Redhawks off from conference action this weekend, Belmont has the opportunity make up ground with the series against Skyhawks, who are currently in last place, and who the Bruins have beaten 14 of the last 17 times they've met.

The games on Friday and Saturday will be streamed on ESPN+, and live audio play-by-play of all three games will be broadcast on the Bruin Sports Network.

First pitch on Friday is scheduled for 5 p.m., Saturday's game will start at 4 p.m., and Sunday's series finale will begin at 1 p.m.

What's Bruin

  • Tommy Crider leads the team with ten home runs, and has three multi-homer games this season, most recently against Purdue two weekends ago in a 3-2 win over the Boilermakers

  • Kyle Brennan leads the country in saves (13). The graduate closer is the all-time program record holder for career saves (30), and was recently named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Stopper of the Year Award Midseason Watch List
