Belmont Celebrates Renovations to Vince Gill Room at Grand Reopening Event

Bruin Program Enhancements Unveiled Ahead of Basketball Season

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Belmont University Athletics unveiled renovations to the Vince Gill Room of the Curb Event Center at a campus grand reopening Friday afternoon.

The Vince Gill Room, which has served as the premium hospitality space during Belmont home basketball games since the arena's inception, features new amenities and upgrades for Bruin Club members to enjoy.

"We are thrilled with how the renovation and expansion of the Vince Gill Room turned out," said Scott Corley, Belmont Vice President/Director of Athletics. "This investment and enhancement will allow us to raise the bar on hospitality for our donors and supporters. It also provides a unique and first-class space for the campus community to use year-round."

The Vince Gill Room space has nearly doubled - to approximately 5,500 square feet – with unrivaled views of the Curb Event Center playing surface and the surrounding campus landscape.

The space features elevated Belmont branding, 16 high-definition TVs, a new, state-of-the-art video wall, and a wide variety of additional furniture to enhance the viewing experience of Belmont athletic events.

Upgraded dining amenities include a newly-renovated kitchen, two self-service Pepsi soda fountains, and additional storage space for campus functions and Bruin Club events.

"A very special thank you to campus leadership for their vision and belief in this project," said Russell Grimm, Executive Director of the Bruin Club. "Particularly, Greg & Susan Jones, Bill & Chase Trivett, Scott Corley, Steve Lasley and David Minnigan, among many others. We are beyond excited for the opportunity for Bruin Club members and campus partners to gather for years to come in this wonderful space."

The Vince Gill Room will continue to host pre-game chalk talks with men's basketball head coach Casey Alexander and women's basketball head coach Bart Brooks.
