KENNESAW, Ga. – The Belmont men's golf team moved up a spot and finished in a tie for fifth place at the Pinetree Intercollegiate held this week at Pinetree Country Club in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Belmont carded a final round of 304 to finish tied with Morehead State in fifth place at 916. Host Kennesaw State won the team title at 870, with Georgia State and West Georgia tied for second at 900.
Two Bruins finished among the top-20 at the event. Junior
Conner Brown posted his best finish as a Bruin as he tied for fourth place at 219. The Shelbyville, Tennessee native shot a one-under 71 in the final round, which included six birdies and five bogeys. Brown finished six strokes back of the medalist, Claes Borregaard of Kennesaw State.
Sophomore
Chris Harpum finished in a tie for 20
th place at 229 after carding a final round 78. It's his second top-20 finish as a Bruin.

Jack Darke (54
th, 244).
Freshman
Brennan Cozad, competing as an individual, finished tied for 47
th place at 237.
The men's golf team wraps up their fall season next Monday and Tuesday at the LIU Nassau Intercollegiate in Glen Cove, New York.
