DUBLIN, Ohio – The Belmont men's golf team finished tied for eighth at the Muirfield Shootout held Monday in Dublin, Ohio.
The Bruins carded rounds of 300 and 301 to finish in a tie for eighth place at 601 with Ohio and Central Michigan. Kent State won the team title at 579, with Michigan State in second at 580.
Two Belmont golfers finished among the top-35. Junior
Chris Harpum tied for 21
st place at 148. He shot rounds of 77 and 71 to finish seven strokes back of the medalist, Charlie Box of Eastern Michigan (141).
Senior
Conner Brown tied for 33
rd place at 150 after carding rounds of 72 and 78 on Monday.
