GLEN COVE, N.Y. – The Belmont men's golf team is tied for fourth place after day one of the LIU Nassau Intercollegiate held Monday at Nassau Country Club in Glen Cove, New York.
On a sunny and unseasonably warm October day on Long Island, the Bruins carded rounds of 290 and 292 on Monday to finish the day tied for fourth with Delaware at 592. Oklahoma Christian has the team lead at 570, with Rhode Island in second at 577.
Two Belmont golfers are among the top-20 after 36 holes. Sophomore
Jack Darke posted rounds of 72 and 71 to finish the day in a tie for fourth place at 143. He is nine shots back of the individual leader, Oskari Nikku of Oklahoma Christian (134).
Fellow sophomore
Grey Goff is tied for 16
th place at 146. The Kentucky native carded rounds of 74 and 72.

The third and final round will begin Tuesday morning at 7:30am CT. Belmont's golfers will tee off from the 10
