GLEN COVE, N.Y. – The Belmont men's golf team wrapped up their fall season by finishing in fifth place at the LIU Nassau Intercollegiate held this week at Nassau Country Club in Glen Cove, New York.
On another unseasonably warm October day on Long Island, the Bruins carded a 295 in the final round to finish in fifth place with a 54-hole mark of 877. Oklahoma Christian won the team title with a score of 856. Boston College placed second at 870, while Delaware was third at 874. Rhode Island was fourth at 876.
Two Belmont golfers finished among the top-20. Sophomore
Chris Harpum posted an even par round of 70 on Tuesday to finish in 11
th place at 218. He finished 12 shots back of the medalist, Oskari Nikku of Oklahoma Christian (206).
Fellow sophomore
Grey Goff earned his first top-20 finish of the season as he tied for 20
th place at 220. The Kentucky native shot a four-over par 74 in the final round.

Jack Darke (T-22, 221), junior
Conner Brown (T-35, 224), and sophomore
Grant Clark (T-45, 229).
This event wraps up the fall season for the men's golf team. In six events, they posted three top-10 finishes in six events, including two top-fives in their last two tournaments. They will open up the spring season on February 24-25 at the World Golf Village Intercollegiate in St. Augustine, Florida.
