Oxford, Miss. -- Competing in its third meet of the outdoor season, the Belmont University women's track and field team saw action at the Ole Miss Classic this weekend.Â
Hosted by Ole Miss, the Bruins competed across a variety of events at the meet.Â
Top Performing Bruins
Sophia Harvey earned first place in the 800m with a time of 2:15.76 which places her atop the Missouri Valley Conference rankings.Â
Tyra Finkeldey ranks first in the MVC and No.56 on the NCAA's East Outdoor Qualifying List after jumping 3.77m in Oxford.Â
Savanah Balcerak ran 2:16.16 in the 800m, which places her at second place in the MVC rankings.Â
Rebekah Stucker notched a huge personal best in the hammer throw with a launch of 58.37m (191' 6") in Oxford. Stucker is now ranked inside the top 25 of her event on the NCAA's East Outdoor Qualifying List.Â
Michella Diebenow secured two top five finishes at the Ole Miss Classic. In the 100m hurdles, she finished in 14.04, setting a huge personal best, placing her at the No.1 spot int he MVC and No. 63 on the NCAA East Outdoor Qualifying List. In the 400m hurdles, she finished fourth in 1:02.40.Â

The Bruins will compete across two meets next week -- the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays on March 27-30 and the Raleigh Relays on March 28-30.
