ACWORTH, Ga. – The Belmont men's golf team finished in a tie for fifth place at The Scrappy at Cobblestone held this week at Cobblestone Golf Club in Acworth, Georgia.
Belmont carded a final round 305 on Tuesday to finish in a tie for fifth place with Morehead State at 893. Host Kennesaw State won the team title at 863, while Georgia State placed second at 876.
Two Bruins finished among the top-15 at this week's event. Senior
Conner Brown led BU as he tied for eighth place at 221. He shot a final round 75 to finish 10 shots back of the medalist, Shaun Cook of Kennesaw State. It was Brown's second top-10 finish of the season and third top-20 showing.
Junior
Chris Harpum carded a final round 77 to finish in a tie for 15
th place at 223. It was his second top-20 finish of fall season.

Grey Goff (T-44, 228), and sophomore
Brennan Cozad (T-44, 228).
The men's golf team will be back in action next Monday and Tuesday, October 20-21, at the Nassau Intercollegiate in Glen Cove, New York.
