'AIEA, Hawaii – The Belmont men's golf team finished in 15
th place at The Pearl at Kalauao Invitational held this week in 'Aiea, Hawaii.
After darkness suspended play on Wednesday night, Belmont finished their second and third rounds on Thursday. The squad posted rounds of 305-300-291 to finish the event in 15
th place at 896.Â
Nationally ranked West Virginia won the event at 843, while UC-San Diego placed second at 854.
The Bruins were led by junior
Grey Goff. The Kentucky native posted rounds of 77-70-72 to finish in a tie for 29
th place at 219. It was the second straight event that Goff had led the Bruins in scoring.
Fellow Kentuckian
Chris Harpum tied for 41
st place after shooting rounds of 78-72-71 for a 221 total.Â
Other Belmont scores from the event included: freshman
Jack Doyle (T-61, 224), senior
Conner Brown (T-93, 232), and junior
Jack Darke (T-100, 236).
UCSD's Nathan Tseng won the tournament medalist at 206.
This event concludes the fall season for the Bruins. They earned three top-five finishes in six events, with a season best third place finish at Ball State.
They will open their 2026 spring season on February 23-24 at the Gulf Coast Collegiate in New Orleans.
