NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont University Men's Track & Field team will compete in the Commodore Winter Challenge at the Vanderbilt Multipurpose Facility to begin their indoor slate.
The one-day event begins at 8:30 a.m. this Saturday, Dec. 6, starting with high jump and women's weight throw. To follow are long jump, pole vault, shot put, and triple jump.
Track events begin with the 5000m at 11 a.m., followed by the 60m hurdles, 60m, mile, 300m, 600m, 1000m, 4x400m relay.
The roster is brings back strong veteran talent in seniors such as
Elizee Toviave and
Payton Culp, while freshman
Gabe Heck competes for the first time as a Bruin tomorrow.
The Bruins have not competed in a December meet since the 2018-19 season. This Saturday, they face off against Austin Peay, Kentucky, Lipscomb, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Western Kentucky, and more.
