NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Belmont University Men's Cross Country and Track & Field programs have announced two new signings for the 2026-27 school year.
McEwen Taylor joins the Bruins from Memphis, Tenn., where he attended Memphis University School.
Taylor holds a personal record of 15 feet, 6 inches (4.72m) in the pole vault. Additionally, he has run 10.99 seconds in the 100m and 49.5 seconds in the 400m.
AJ Algood comes to Belmont from Ravenwood High School in Brentwood, Tenn. While running for Ravenwood, he earned a 5th place finish at the Tennessee State High School Cross Country Championships.
Algood holds personal bests of 4:19 in the 1600m and 9:23 in the 3200m.
