The series begins with a nine-inning doubleheader on Friday at 1 p.m. The series concludes Sunday with a seven-inning doubleheader beginning at noon. Bruin Bullets
- Pete Daniel leads the Bruins with a .328 batting average and 22 hits. The sophomore has eight hits and four doubles in the last five games. Daniel has reached base in all 17 games and carries a six-game hit streak into the series.
- Charlie Davis remains hot with 13 hits, five doubles and five RBIs in the last 10 games. Davis had six hits last weekend against Little Rock. He leads the team with six doubles in 17 games.
- Ty Allen hit his team-leading fourth home run of the season on Wednesday at Middle Tennessee. Allen remains top 10 in the MVC in home runs. He continues to lead the Bruins in RBIs (13) and slugging percentage (.463).
- Blake Barton has reached base in 11 straight games.
- Belmont pitchers struck out 10 batters against Middle Tennessee on Wednesday, the sixth time this season. Will Pryor leads the team with 21 strikeouts, followed by Zane Brown (16), Joe Ruzicka (15) and Andrew Perry (14).
- Ruzicka leads the Bruins in innings (20) and qualified pitchers with a 3.60 ERA. The right-hander has held opponents to a .209 batting average in four starts.
Scouting Report: Butler Bulldogs
- Butler leads the Big East and ranks 37th in NCAA Division I with a .314 team batting average. Jack Bello leads the team with a .472 batting average.
- Jack Moroknek is tied for second in the nation with 10 home runs, just one shy of Alabama's Justin Lebron. Moroknek leads the Bulldogs in hits (28), runs (23), slugging percentage (1.067), on-base percentage (.548) and RBIs (19).
- The Bulldogs fell to Purdue 10-1 on Wednesday, following a series split with Lindenwood.
