RALEIGH, N.C. – The Belmont men's golf team is in 10
th place as darkness suspended play Friday at the Stitch Intercollegiate held at Lonnie Poole Golf Course in Raleigh, North Carolina.
With 9-10 holes remaining in the second round, the Bruins are in 10
th place at +17. Lipscomb has the team lead at even par, with host NC State and UNCG tied for second place at +2.
Leading the way for the Bruins are sophomore
Grey Goff and graduate student
Foster Wood, who are tied for 39
th place at +4. They are eight shots back of the individual leader, Michael Vick of NC State (-4).
Junior
Conner Brown is tied for 47
th place at +5, while sophomore
Chris Harpum and freshman
Brennan Cozad are each tied for 56
th place at +6.
The second round will be restarted with a 7:30am CT shotgun start Saturday morning. Once the second round is completed, the field will start their third and final round.
