ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Missouri Valley Conference front office announced the 2025 Spring State Farm MVC Good Neighbor Awards Wednesday morning.
Brenna Blume represents Belmont University and the Belmont Softball program as a 2025 Good Neighbor honoree. This honor is awarded to student-athletes who are successful in the classroom and are committed to good citizenship, sportsmanship, and community involvement.
Blume is involved in various on campus and off campus activities that demonstrate her desire to have a positive impact on the community. Throughout her time at Belmont, Blume has been involved with 30 plus on campus or community organizations including SAAC and Team IMPACT.
After serving over 400 community service hours in the past year, Blume was presented with the 2025 Rich Tiner Altruism Award and 2024-25 Female Community Service Award at the Bruins' Choice Awards.
Along with community service, Blume has maintained success in the classroom. The junior was named to the MVC Scholar-Athlete Honorable Mention Team and CSC Academic All-District Team in 2024.
