Men's Golf Earns GCAA National Academic Honors

NORMAN, Okla. – The Belmont men's golf team earned the President's Special Recognition Award by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) as the organization announced their academic awards on Tuesday.     

To be recognized by the GCAA as an All-Academic Team, teams need to achieve a GPA of 3.0-or-better for the 2024-25 academic year.   With Belmont's team GPA being above 3.5, they were among the 75 Division I schools that received the President's Special Recognition. 

This marks the 16^th straight year that the program has received this honor.

During the 2024-25 season, the Bruins played in 12 events and posted three top-five finishes.  Their best finish was a third place showing at the MVC Championship.  In addition, Foster Wood became the third Bruin to earn All-MVC honors..

The men's golf team kicks off their 2025 fall season on September 15-16 at the Grover Page Classic in Memphis.
