NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont men's golf team kicks off their fall season this Monday and Tuesday at Grover Page Classic in Memphis, Tennessee.
What's Bruin
- The Bruins have six returners from last year's team, including their two top players. Junior Chris Harpum led the team with a 74.3 average and had four top-20 finishes. Senior Conner Brown is right behind of Harpum with a 74.4 average and posted four top-30 finishes.
- There are three newcomers on this year's squad: graduate transfer Colin Nasser and freshmen Jack Doyle and Charlie Spiller.
- Last season, the team had three top-10 finishes, including a season-best third place showing at the MVC Championship
This week's Grover Page Classic, is a two-day, 54-hole event, with 36 holes contested on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday. It will be held at The Links at Audubon in Memphis, which will play to a par 71 and a length of 6,904 yards.
The field features 14 schools and includes the likes of host UT-Martin, Tennessee Tech, Bellarmine, New Orleans, and one other MVC school, Murray State.
