NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Belmont University Women's Track & Field had a successful showing in the Indoor Music City Challenge at Vanderbilt University Feb. 13-14.

On Friday,
Alexa Fortman earned the Bruins' first top-10 finish in the women's 600m with a time of 1:33.44.
Later that night,
Sophie Nicholls placed 1st in her heat and 9th overall in the 5000m running a 16:45.26.
On Saturday,
Jennifer Mims ran 57.07 in the unseeded 400m, earning herself 3rd place in the event.
Even more Bruins earned PRs this weekend.
Alex Lancaster and
Lilie Fouts beat their previous times in the mile.
Belmont returns to competition in two weeks for the 2026 MVC Indoor Championships in Indianapolis on March 1-2.
