NASHVILLE, Tenn. -Â Belmont University Women's Track & Field delivered numerous strong performances this weekend at the Outdoor Music City Challenge hosted by Vanderbilt University.

Opening the weekend for Belmont,
Maggie Swarr and
Kate Briscoe placed 2nd and 4th respectively in the javelin throw, maintaining their top spots in the MVC.
Carson Wasemiller hit a new personal best in the steeplechase, running 11:25.70.
Women's distance raced well in the 1500m on Friday evening.
Lilie Fouts placed 9th with a new best time of 4:29.45.
Callie Kent also PR'd, running a 4:33.44.
In a late-night 5000m competition,
Sophie Nicholls hit a new personal best of 16:30.63 to place 8th overall.
In Saturday morning's field events, Carlota Salgado García placed 3rd in the women's high jump after jumping 1.60m. Freshman
Isabella Piette marked 49.80m in the hammer throw to place 7th.
Devin Moore raced well in the 400m, setting a new PR of 58 seconds flat. In the 400m hurdles,
Jennifer Mims placed 6th with a time of 1:01.08.
Two Bruin women hit record times in the 800m race.
Callie Kent ran a career best of 2:15.18, and
Kiera Pinto hit 2:27.18.
