LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Belmont men's golf team is in a tie for 14
th place as darkness suspended play Monday at the Bluegrass Collegiate Invitational in Lexington, Kentucky.
With three holes to play, Belmont is in a tie for 14
th place with Purdue Fort Wayne at +43. Host Kentucky has the team lead at -3, while Marquette is second at +6.
Leading the way for Belmont is junior
Chris Harpum. The Kentucky native is in 43
rd place at +10. He is 12 shots back of the leader, Cameron Phillips of Kentucky at -2.
Juniors
Grey Goff and
Grant Clark are each tied for 57
th place at +12. Fellow junior
Jack Darke is one shot back and in 64
th place at +13. Senior
Conner Brown is in 77
th place at +15.
Freshman
Jack Doyle, competing as an individual, is in 49
th place at +11.
The second round will be restarted at 8:00am CT on Tuesday morning.  Once completed, the field will start their third and final round.
