NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Belmont University Men's and Women's Track & Field will spend the weekend at the Georgia Tech Invitational, hosted by the Yellow Jackets at George C. Griffin Track.
The Bruins will return to Georgia Tech after opening the outdoor season at the Yellow Jacket Invitational Mar 20-21.
Friday will begin with the women's hammer throw at 1 p.m. CST. Additional field events taking place throughout the evening include men's javelin, women's pole vault, women's long jump, and women's javelin.
Running events commence at 4 p.m. CST for the Bruins, beginning with the 100m hurdles. The team will also have runners in the 1500m, 3000m steeplechase, and 5000m.
Saturday's field events run through the early afternoon and include women's high jump, men's pole vault, and men's high jump.
The Bruins will race a relay team in the 4x100m at 11:15, followed by competitors in the 400m hurdles, 400m, and 800m. The men's 200m will conclude the weekend for Belmont.
