NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont men's golf team is back in action on Monday at the Muirfield Shootout held in Dublin, Ohio.
BRUIN BITES
- In their last event, Belmont finished in 12th place at the Bluegrass Collegiate last week in Lexington, Kentucky. Junior Chris Harpum led BU as he tied for34th place at 226.
- Harpum leads the team in scoring with a 73.5 average and in round of par or better with 11.
- Senior Conner Brown ranks second in scoring at 73.7 and leads the team in top-10s with 3 and top-20s with 4.
The Muirfield Shootout is a one day, 36 hole event. Each team will play six golfers and count the low four scores. It will be held at The Coiuntry Club of Muirfield Village, which will play to a par 72 and a length of 7,320 yards.
The field features 14 teams ands includes the likes of host Miami (OH), Butler, Michigan State, Xavier, and two other MVC teams: Illinois State and Murray State.
