PADUCAH, Ky. – The Belmont men's golf team finishes in 13
th place at the Racer Intercollegiate held this week in Paducah, Kentucky.
Belmont shot a 304 as a team in the final round on Tuesday to finish in 13
th place at 905. Chattanooga won the team title at 845, while North Dakota State was second at 865.
Leading the way for the Bruins is senior
Conner Brown. The Shelbyville, Tennessee native shot a final round 75 to finish in a tie for 27
th place at 220. Evan Rogers of Chattanooga earned medalist honors with a mark of 209.
Other Belmont scores from the tournament included: junior
Jack Darke (T-62, 226), junior
Grant Clark (T-65, 229), junior
Chris Harpum (T-74, 232), and freshman
Jack Doyle (T-74, 232).
Two Bruins competed as individuals: junior
Grey Goff is tied tor 49
th place at 224, while freshman
Charlie Spiller is tied for 89
th place at 241.
The men's golf team is back on the links next Monday and Tuesday, April 13-14, at the Bluegrass Collegiate Invitational in Lexington, Kentucky.
