ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Graduate student women's golferÂ
Chloe Tarkany has been named Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Golfer of the Week as announced by the conference office on Friday.  This is the seventh time she has won the award.Â
Chloe earned medalist honors at this week's Houston Lake Invitational.  She carded a six-under par 66 in Monday's final round to finish the event with a 54-hole score of 214 (-2), one stroke ahead of runner-up, Sophia Gambini of ETSU (215). It was her fourth career individual title and second one this season.
With the victory, she becomes just the second Belmont women's golfer to win four individual titles, joiningÂ
Lorie Warren Drake, who captured seven during her career.Â
In addition, her seven Golfer of the Week awards is now tied for the most all-time in program history with her former teammate
Delia Gibbs.
Tarkany and the rest of the Bruins will be back in action on April 11-12 at the Jan Weaver Invitational in Murray, Kentucky.
