NASHVILLE, Tenn. - -Â Belmont University Men's Track & Field returns to competition this Friday and Saturday at the Tennessee Invite hosted by the University of Tennessee.

Belmont is coming off a dual-meet weekend in Texas, where they competed in the Bobcat Invitational hosted by Texas State, and the prestigious Texas Relays hosted by the Longhorns.

Men's competition starts with
Jack Perry in the pole vault at 11:30 a.m. CST Friday morning. Running events commence at 2:25 p.m. The Bruins will have runners in the 1500m, 200m, and 400m hurdles. Later in the evening, Bruins will compete in the javelin and 500m race.
On Saturday morning,
Andrew Taylor starts competition at 11 a.m. CST with the high jump. Throughout the final day of the meet, Belmont athletes will race in the 800m and 400m, and
Lleyton Penn will compete in the shot put.
