Behind the plate, veteran catcher Mike Sprockett continues to provide leadership and experience entering the final series of his collegiate career. Sprockett has appeared in 48 games this season with seven home runs and 24 RBI.

On the mound, Belmont will look to lean on several key contributors during the weekend. Friday Starter Shane Duke has settled has shown some promise since returning from injury. Pitching 9.2 innings and producing 14 strikeouts. Saturday's probable starter Junior Zane Brown has had tremendous success this season posting a 4.86 ERA and 37 strikeouts. Freshman Ridge Harvey will start on Sunday for the Bruins and has been a steady presence on the mound this season posting a 4.75 ERA in 13 appearances and 7 starts and is second on the team with 44 strikeouts and 13 batters walked this year.
