NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont women's soccer team (1-1) will officially open its 2011 campaign at its new home E.S. Rose Park on Friday afternoon. The Bruins will host future Ohio Valley Conference foe Eastern Illinois (0-2) beginning at 4 p.m.
The Panthers opened the 2011 campaign with a pair of hard fought road losses over the weekend. EIU was held off in its season opener at Northern Iowa, 1-0. Two days later at Mizzou, Eastern Illinois was tripped up again, falling 4-1.

Belmont brings a 1-1 mark into Friday's contest after dropping its first game of the season on the road at Samford, 2-0, before rebounding two days later at intrastate rival Tennessee Tech with a 3-1 victory.
The Bruins have had goals recorded by senior
