- Belmont Women's Soccer is ranked first in the OVC for save percentage as well as shutout percentage
- Rachel Vernon earned her first weekly accolade of the season last week, being named OVC Defensive Player of the Week
- Andrea Leitner claimed named back-to-back OVC Goalkeeper of the week awards this season and leads the OVC in shutouts and goals against average
- Maci Pekmezian leads the OVC and is ranked in the top 20 in the nation for game winning goals
- Peckmezian sent in a dagger of a penalty kick to score her fourth game winning goal on Thursday
- Keely Cartrett took the ball up to the eighteen her shot was deflected by a UT Martin player's hand earning the penalty kick
- In the past four games the Bruins have recorded four goals and two shutouts
- Leitner recorded her fifth OVC shutout against UT Martin making it her sixth of the season
- Belmont recorded one goal, four shots, and three saves against UT Martin
- The Bruins had a busy previous week competing in three OVC matchup competitions
- Belmont fell 1-0 to Eastern Illinois on Sunday, recording twelve shots, two saves, and three corners
- The Bruins outshot the Panthers twelve to 6 but could not find the back of the net
- Belmont claimed victory over Morehead State 2-1 with both goals scored by defender Loren House
- Riley Casey earned her first assist of the season for the first goal at Morehead State
- Natalie Haverland and Rachel Vernon were accredited the assist for the second goal against Morehead State
- The Bruins recorded seven shots, four saves, and three corner kicks in their victory over Morehead State
- Last Tuesday the Bruins fell to the Golden Eagles 2-1, their first OVC loss of the season
- The sole goal of the match was scored by Rachel Vernon after a free kick that was bobbled through the eighteen finding the feet of Vernon to score for the Bruins
- The Bruins recorded six shots, two saves, and three corner kicks against the Golden Eagles
- Belmont trails SIUE in the all-time series matchup 2-4-4
- The Bruins defeated the Cougars in a penalty kick shootout to win the 2019 OVC Championship
- In their last competition the Bruins tied the Cougars 1-1 in double overtime
- The sole goal of the match was scored by graduated Julie Garst earning her 50 career points
- This match goalkeeper Sarah Doyle recorded her career high of saves at 11
