• Belmont went 5-4-1 in the conference-only Spring 2021 season
• Lipscomb went 7-3-2 in Spring 2021, dropping a 1-0 decision to Liberty in the Atlantic Sun Tournament quarterfinal round
• Lipscomb defeated South Alabama, 2-0, Aug. 9 in its exhibition debut
• Belmont was picked fifth in the OVC Preseason Poll; Lipscomb was selected as Atlantic Sun co-favorite with North Florida
• Senior Rachel Vernon was named OVC Player to Watch
• Julie Garst ('21) and Vernon earned United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-Region honors; the lone representatives from the Ohio Valley Conference
• Belmont and Lipscomb last met in exhibition play in 2017
• Belmont and Lipscomb met in the 2019 regular season, with Paige Hewitt giving the Bruins a 1-0 lead; Olivia Doak scored two goals in the final 15 minutes for the final result
