NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Belmont University women's soccer will face Evansville Sunday in its second regular season match of the fall campaign.
Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Arad McCutchan Stadium.
- The Bruins competed in their first regular season match Friday night, dropping a 1-0 decision at Middle Tennessee
- The Bruins recorded eight shots and three shots on goal
- Goalie Sarah Doyle recorded five saves
- Evansville competed in its first regular seasn match on Thursday, earning a 1-1 draw with Bellarmine
- In exhibition competition, the Bruins beat Lipscomb 1-0 and tied 1-1 with Southern Illinois
- The last time Belmont met Evansville was in 2019
- Belmont scored two goals in each half to earn 4-2 victory
- Goalkeeper Sarah Doyle made her career debut against Evansville in 2019
- The Bruins were selected fifth in OVC Preseason Poll
