- After a 1-1 tie in regulation Belmont's Maci Pekmezian scores the golden goal off a cross from Leah Firsdon with 12 seconds left in double overtime against the University of Tennessee Chattanooga
- Belmont's tying goal of the match was headed into the back of the net in the second half by Freshman Leah Firsdon assisted by Rachel Vernon
- Both goals were the Pekmezian and Firsdon's first collegiate goals
- Belmont tallied twelve shots on the night with 6 being in overtime
- The Bruins recorded 9 corner kicks in the match 3 of them being within 10 minutes of each other during the second half
- Belmont heads into Sunday 1-2-0 falling short in previous matches against Middle Tennessee (1-0) and Evansville (3-0)
