NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Belmont University's
Sarah Doyle receives the team's first Missouri Valley Conference Weekly nod as the Goalkeeper of the Week following a clean sheet week, announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon.
The Bruins posted consecutive shutouts in 0-0 ties against Indiana University – Perdue University Indianapolis and Western Kentucky University.
On the week Doyle posted a perfect save percentage adding seven saves to her name. Tested in net, Doyle had 31 shots put up against her.
Leading the Conference, Doyle records a 0.63 goal against average and a 0.86 save percentage while only allowing three goals against 58 shots in five matches.
In her senior season, Doyle is giving it everything she has to keep the Bruin's net secure.
