NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont University men's track and field team will compete in its fourth meet of the season beginning this weekend. The Bruins will take on the Indoor Music City Challenge Friday and Saturday Feb. 10-11 inside Vanderbilt's nearby Multipurpose Facility.  Â
Hosted by Vanderbilt University, the two-day meet gets underway Friday morning with men's weight throw and continues through Saturday evening, concluding with the 4x400m relays.  Â
This meet marks the third time Belmont will compete in Nashville. The Bruins will see 22 student-athletes in action. Belmont will be represented in the high jump, long jump, weight throw, shot put, pole vault, 60m, 60m H, 200m, 400m, 600m,800m 3000m, 5000m, one mile run and 4x4 relays.Â
Belmont will compete against Alabama, Auburn, Austin Peay, Butler, Cincinnati, Duke, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Iowa, Lipscomb, Louisville, Memphis, Miami (Fla.), Middle Tennessee, Mississippi State, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Penn State, Tennessee, Tennessee State, Texas Tech, Tulane, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech among others.Â
There will be two schools in attendance from the Missouri Valley Conference alongside Belmont.Â
Cost of admission to the meet is $10 per day with children two and under gaining free admittance. Free parking can be accessed inside the 25th Ave. Garage through the Highland Avenue entrance on floors 8-10. Enter through the SEC lobby on the north end of the multipurpose facility. Vanderbilt has a clear bag policy for all spectators.  Â
