NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Belmont University Men's Track & Field team heads over to Vanderbilt University for the Indoor Music City Challenge held in the Vanderbilt Multipurpose Facility.
The Bruins are coming off an appearance in Louisville, Ky. at the competitive PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational.
Headlining the weekend for the Bruins was
Matty Mackay, who placed 2nd in the 5000m.
Multiple athletes came out of the weekend with new personal bests, including freshman
Aaron Richter. Richter ran record times in both the 800m and the mile.
Drew Brill also earned a personal best in the 3000m.
The competition kicks off on Feb. 13 with the high jump at 9:00Â a.m. followed by a series of field events.Â
Track events start at 3:30 p.m. with the 60m hurdles and wrap up with the 5000m.
Saturday's track events start with the 3000m at 9:30Â a.m., and conclude with the 4x400 meter relay at 4:40 p.m.
